THE STORY OF AVIACO

A HELICOPTER SPARE PARTS STORY

The story of Aviaco begins in 2014 after a simple weekend between friends. Someone working at Airbus Helicopters explained to Nicolas that his company was using brokers to solve their supply problems for specific spare parts.

FIRST SALE

In 2015, Nicolas Rovera, and his entrepreneurial instinct, decides to investigate more about the brokers companies of helicopter spare parts. Aviaco was born. Nicolas managed to find supply sources and to make his first sale after only a few months.

DOMINIQUE GAVAULT, A KEY ASSET

Lionel Noirault Massol, Nicolas’ friend, introduced him to Dominique Gavault who was a former senior manager at Airbus Helicopter.  After a promising start and a raising turnover, Dominique Gavault decided to join Aviaco team.

CALL TO A FRIEND

Nicolas decided to call on one of his friends, Silvia Turco, to support him at Aviaco. She agreed to help for two months even if Nicolas failed in convincing her to stay. It was only at the end of 2017 that she joined the Aviaco adventure, finally convinced by its founder.

THE INCREDIBLE SILVIA TURCO

Silvia’s efficiency is stunning, the year 2018 was excellent in terms of growth. Aviaco was able to sell large volumes but the lack of spare parts had become a real limit. After a long period of research, a solution was found. This solution consisted in finding helicopters on which parts could be disassembled and then resold. This was the beginning of a new era for Aviaco.

A NEW ERA

To develop this new era, Nicolas needed to develop his network and decided to call on Dominique Gavault to be up to their ambitions. Subsequently, Aviaco became a challenge for Emmanuel Gonzalez. Recommended by Dominique Gavault, he helped in developing a financial structure in order to create the first dismantling center in France.

CERTIFICATION & NEW PREMISES

In 2019, the company grew and moved to new, freshly built premises of more than 2000m² and obtained the agreement PART 145 which allowed Aviaco to draw up EASA Form 1 to sell the parts previously dismantled following a dedicated process.

Currently, Aviaco continues to meet its objectives and is aiming to obtain more funds to face the challenges of the years to come.
